Message from Liliana Bucur Cress, President of WAFUNIF (The World Association of Former United Nations Interns and Fellows, https://www.wafunif.org). We are a United Nations NGO that was founded by the UN in 1978 to serve the needs of the UN alumni population and to promote the work of the UN.

Our organization is launching a ‘Lunch and Learn’ video podcast series named ‘NGO Spotlight. The main goal of the podcast is to raise awareness of the work of the UN civil society, and to identify areas of synergy and opportunity between the UN system, UN civil society, UN alumni, and the greater community at large.

These ‘Lunch and Learn’ series will be short twenty-to-thirty-minutes conversations that organizations such as yours can use to promote your organization’s work and to bring attention to any support or resource needs that you may have. The intent is for such conversations to be a podcast-style dialogue between myself and a representative of your organization. These conversations will be recorded and published to our organization’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@wafunif) for consumption by our viewers at their convenience.
